Drawing -- Ponette

A drawing I did longtime ago. This is the main charactor of the French movie Ponette, a little girl trying to cope with the pain of losing her mom in car accident. Her acting was so mature yet very realistic, it just makes you cry.

This was final project for my marker rendering technique class long time ago.
While I saw the original photo from a fashion magazine, I fell in love with it. I decided to choose this one as my reference even I knew it must be a big challenge for me reproducing it using markers. Figure drawing is my weakness, not to mention I had to use markers that were almost impossible to make modifications once you draw something with them on paper.

Here she comes. I know it's not perfect, but I did my best and I am pretty happy about it.

Tinspiration

Year 2006, Fossil held a design contest online, encouraging people to design their own version of the tin for Fossil watch package. The contest was named Tinspiration - inspiration for tin design.

I really love every single tin I saw in Fossil store, they are so unique and artistic, not like any other brand of watch package. So i decided to participate in this contest, hoping one day my design will appear in Fossil store as well.

And here comes my design.

Personal Logo

This is the logo I designed for myself. The red part at the middle is a twisted letter "H, " which is the initial of my name. The hand with paint spots on it simply suggests my life being an artist.
